Hunters are the player characters in Hunt: Showdown.

Summary[edit | edit source]

Hunters must be recruited and equipped by the player character, and when used over time, these specific hunters will gain experience and become more powerful as they gain levels. Death in Hunt: Showdown is permanent, meaning when a Hunter dies, they are lost, along with their experience and equipment.

Tiers[edit | edit source]

There are three principle tiers for Hunters. These tiers are the Apprentice, Cowboy, and Manhunter, and each boasts their own appearance and specific strengths and weaknesses in terms of health and pre-equipped gear.

Gaining Experience[edit | edit source]

Hunters gain experience by surviving missions when they are deployed. Every action during these missions, from kills to healing, grants XP that is then applied once they successfully survive the Hunt. The maximum level amount of Hunters is 50, and each level upgrade results in Upgrade Points that can be used to purchase Traits and extend the Hunter's health. After level 50 all experience goes directly to bloodline. Also, upon reaching certain levels, some experience is revarded to your bloodline.
