Medkit[edit | edit source]

Medkit is an interactable item spawning on the map that allows hunters to restore 2 bars of their available health (i.e. it can't heal fully burned bars, and bars lost to being downed). Three medkits spawns in every Resupply point.



Ammunition boxes and packages[edit | edit source]

Throughout the map boxes with ammunition can be found. They contain 4 types of ammunition (all except special). Each box can be used by any hunter only once, and twice in total (i.e. two different hunters may use given ammunition box). Three ammunition boxes spawns in every Resupply Point. Ammunition can also be found in Ammunition packages. They give a bit less bullets than Ammunition boxes and also only for specific ammo types. They are scattered around the compounds.

Compact ammo is a red package Ammo compact.png
Medium ammo is a bright blue package Ammo medium.png

Item Box[edit | edit source]

The item box is an a World item that provides Consumables or replenishes Tools
The Consumables it contains are more offensive nature
Upto 1 or 2 in one Compound
Guaranteed 1 at a Resupply Point

Throwable Lanterns[edit | edit source]

Lanterns can be found in various places around the map. Hunters can pick them up and carry as a third weapon, but it will be dropped on the ground when switching to other equipment. Lanterns produce light and can be used to improve visibility in dark areas (like building interiors, dungeons, basements or at night). They can be turned off to conceal the hunter that is carrying it. Most importantly, they can be thrown, which will make it explode and spill oil around, immediately setting it ablaze, and in consequence setting on fire everyone and everything within the range. The flames will last for 25 seconds, which can be used as obstacle to block tight passages. The fire will also set off barrels.

  • Pitcher - Increased throwing range for all items using the aim helper.


Static Lanterns[edit | edit source]

Static Lanterns can be found either hanging somewhere or standing on the floor/furniture.

They can be turned on and off. When shot while the flame is burning they set the surrounding on fire.

When shot while turned off they spill oil, which can be ignited by any kind of fuse or other flammable object.

Bear Traps[edit | edit source]

They can be placed on the floor and when activated it snaps and makes a loud sound.

It deals 40 damage and bleeding

By using Poacher the trap can be closed quietly

With Vigilant the trap can be seen through wall within the radius of the trait



Barrels[edit | edit source]

Red and yellow barrels will set ablaze when shot, or instantly explode when hit with some sort of burning object. So a flare gun for example explodes the barrel instantly on impact. For the poison/hive barrel any kind of damage will destroy it and release what's inside.

Explosive barrel will create big explosion. Fuel barrel will create smaller explosion, but will also spill fuel around setting it on fire for 5 minutes. The poison/hive barrel will release a poison cloud that last there for some seconds and a hive swarm that poison and attacks the nearest player in its surrounding.

Axe[edit | edit source]

An Axe is a strong and viable melee weapon found in compounds or sometimes also Resupply Points

Its heavy and light melee attacks deals a lot of damage and are a good weapon against most AI and bosses.




Sledgehammer[edit | edit source]

The Sledgehammer is another strong and viable melee weapon.

Anyhow it deals less damage than an Axe. It is still a strong weapon against Immolators and the Spider and Assassin






Pitchfork[edit | edit source]

  • Among the selection of fearsome farming tools found by Hunters scattered around the Bayou, the Pitchfork excels at stabbing enemies to death.
  • Where the Hammer causes Blunt damage and the Wooden Axes is all about Rending damage, the new Pitchfork causes Piercing damage with its heavy melee attack, similar to bayonets and the Cavalry Saber.
  • However, the regular melee attack is much weaker and is performed by smacking enemies with the wooden hilt, similar to push attacks with a rifle.



Shovel[edit | edit source]

  • Another new farming tool found scattered through the swamps, the Shovel can be used as a weapon and should not to be underestimated by Hunters.
  • The sharpened edge of the shovel blade can be used for regular melee attacks, causing Rending damage that can bring down a Grunt in a single strike.
  • The heavy melee attack on the other hand is performed with the broad side of the Shovel, smacking a careless Hunter square on the head with a humiliating *thud* sound.



Cash Register[edit | edit source]

Cash register is an interactable item spawning on the map that allows hunters to loot hunt dollars. Each cash register may be used only once by any given hunter and a second time by another hunter.

Similarily to looting hunters the amount of money possible to get from looting cash register is 50$, 100$, 200, 500$ or 1000$. Bigger the amount lesser the chance of getting it is.

The piano can distract AI and play different sound tracks. By default it has 4 music pieces.

Crows[edit | edit source]

Crows are present on land portions of map, sitting on the ground and fences. They are a source of sound - if you scare them, they will fly away of you cawing loudly, which can be heard from far away. It is also worth noting that they fly in the direction opposite to you, which can on one hand give away direction you are moving or be used to your advantage to conceal your real direction.

Crows can be scared by proximity of the hunters and sound sources like gunshots, bullet impacts, explosions, objects landing near them (decoys, knives). The distance at which they are scared depends on how fast you are moving - running scares them from bigger distance than sneaking. Additionally Beastface trait reduces that distance.

They can be killed relative quietly by throwing lanterns or Fire Bomb (any variant) at them.

Ducks[edit | edit source]

Ducks are present on water portions of maps. They are a source of sound - if you scare them, they will fly away of you quacking loudly, which can be heard from far away. It is also worth noting that they fly in the direction opposite to you, which can on one hand give away direction you are moving or be used to your advantage to conceal your real direction.

Ducks can be scared by proximity of the hunters and sound sources like gunshots, bullet impacts, explosions, objects landing near them (decoys, knives). The distance at which they are scared depends on how fast you are moving - running scares them from bigger distance than sneaking. Additionally Beastface trait reduces that distance.

They can be burned by thrown lanterns provided you hit the duck not the water, as water will not cause the lantern to break. Burning them will be much quiter than scaring them off.

Dying Horse[edit | edit source]

Horse are present mainly on roads and inside of compounds. They are a source of sound - if you scare them, they will start to neigh loudly, which can be heard from far away. If hunter stay to close to the agitated horse he will be kicked. It is possible to by killed by the horse.

Horse can be scared by proximity of the hunters and sound sources like gunshots, bullet impacts, explosions, objects landing near them (decoys, knives). The distance at which they are scared depends on how fast you are moving - running scares them from bigger distance than sneaking. Additionally Beastface trait reduces that distance.

They can be killed by headshot instantly, or few shots to the body, depending on the weapon. If not killed instantly, it will start to neigh.
